Our Story
Our family has been coming to Wildwood since the 1940’s and it’s always been home away from home. It’s not just about vacation time, but about family, making memories and carrying on traditions.
While walking the boards during the summer of 2005, this location was vacant. We thought, what better way to live at the shore all summer than to operate a business on the boardwalk. And since we love ice cream, what better business than that. With a lot of hard work, our vision turned into reality and the Hershey’s Ice Cream Shop doors opened in time for the Memorial weekend the following summer. It started with just ice cream, water ice, funnel cake and soft pretzels. Over the years, our menu expanded to include waffles and ice cream, fresh cut fries, crepes, zeppole and a variety of espresso based beverages.

Everything is prepared fresh to order with quality ingredients and a lot of TLC. We take great pride in serving delicious boardwalk fare in a friendly atmosphere. Customer service and satisfaction are the top priority. Over the years, our customers have become friends and our friends are like family. So for us, this is not just about ice cream, it’s about so much more. It’s about striving to provide experiences for families to create wonderful memories – memories that will last a lifetime.
